Looking to migrate to Arch Linux soon, hopefully within the next few days. May make a blog post about it later. Jul 15, 2018 at 2:18 PM
can't think of anything creative to put here, Male, from Hell
I see you're a man of good taste

I've heard mixed things about Arch, but I'm not much of a linux person so I wouldn't know.
I've seen a lot of people on here praise Arch, but there definitely is a learning curve to using it. It's basically a "build-your-own-OS" sort of deal, where you manually have to choose which Desktop/Window Manager to use, what sort of packages to install, and so on.
I've been practicing a bit with a VM, so hopefully I'll be better prepared for an actual install.
Meanwhile, in the Switch Homebrew Scene...
<insert 60's Batman transition here>
Repartitioning a hard drive is painful. Makes me wish I had just set up separate partitions the moment I got my laptop.
Checking back on the 3DS Hacking sections. It's almost melancholy to think that the scene has, more or less, reached its endgame.
Damn I feel this status on a physical level.
Maybe it's because the 3DS Scene was what convinced me to become a member in the first place. It's sad to see it die.
Very same, the 3DS scene and the Wii U scene. We also joined 4 days apart. Amazing
All my life I thought that you were B_E_P_S_I_M_A_N
It's OK, I doubt you're alone
what??? you're not pepsiman?!?!?!
Yeah, I pronounced it as pepsiman but with a B, I figured it was intentional
This may sound silly, but I like to think of emulators as game consoles that have ascended to a higher plane of existence.
Except if in Beta:P
Not gonna lie though, if an emulator works properly and at full speed, then it's almost definitely better than the normal system, leaving the only reason to play on a console that you want to have the hardware for sentimental value...
I guess there are a few systems with odd control schemes like the DS/3DS that might make emulated controls a bit uncomfortable, though. Organizing local multiplayer on a system that was originally a handheld can also be a hassle.
Liking the new look for News Threads on here.
Spent the day messing around with my Wii. Now it's running Priiloader and USBLoaderGX. I know I'm late to the game, but damn, it feels nice.
Just realized that my account became 2 years old a week ago. Man, time flies fast.
neat, mine hits 3 in a couple months. time sure does fly
Glad to see that I came back on just as the CSS was fixed.
The new Downloads section is great. I've spent the last half hour just browsing through all the ROM Hacks and stuff that's there.
Yeeaaahhh all those Romhacks were basically stolen from Romhacking.net. They've all been nuked now ;O Still a lotta cool, legit stuff from the community available for download.
Yeah, I became aware of that soon enough. Ah, well. At least I became aware of all the cool stuff that's available on that site, anyways.

Getting all of your Steam library to work on an old Desktop with a Ubuntu install is extremely painful, yet oddly rewarding.
I get sick for a day and come back to this: http://i.fl0.co/taip55.png
