if it has paid games that people enjoy, than yes, someone will want to get the games for free
lets just pirate
that's not what i said. i don't really condone piracy, i was just pointing out that with any good console, people will want to pirate games
i know i know
the point with me is, if there is a console, it needs piracy
i will just stop pirate when i'm really able to afford everything i want lol
Ok, but what about ROM Hacks? I see a lot of potential for Super Mario Odyssey ROM Hacks.
A Super Mario 64 remake in Odyssey style obviously, and a Star Road remake and ofcourse brand new hacks.
Also would love to see those Zelda Homebrew games on the PSP get ported to the Nintendo Switch.
Thanks for the resume... very handy for someone that isn't up to date on switch hacking.
Wonder if its a good time to get a switch just for piracy...
Im waiting for a flashcard to I can play mariokart deluxe
switch will have chipmod and CFW
chipmod could be released in two weeks, CFW could be two months or more, I cant wait too
flashcart would take 1 or 2 years
I would too...... big graphic on back with the face..... I would remove my botw graphik
Amazing that the Switch is the fastest selling console ever. Well, I suppose McDonald's sells the most burgers. I'm just happy that emulators became playable on the Switch before Nintendo got around to launching the virtual console. You'd think that they would be jumping at the opportunity to get people to buy Super Mario Bros. 3 for the 4th time.
The quality of games is a factor for console hacking. No one want to hack a console with no game, that why 3DS hacking scene moving so slow at the start.
My Switch is begging me to be used and cleaned for those 2 inch of dust, someone do something please.
A flashcard will be completely useless if we have a cfw or a chip.
Yeah, we'd get a 2nd useless brickway like on the 3DS, while the CFW is so much better.
Fail 0verflow gets 3 sections for their alleged accomplishments, but nothing for retroarch, a legitimate group of badasses. Foreshame.
the link is wrong in the "fusée gelée -- coldboot proof-of-concept for the Tegra X1"
lol don't say that to me nibba
i'm not the one asking for flashcart
I just want piracy for the convenience of all my games on the go, while my legit carts can stay safely at my house.
Since the carts are all serialized, we should have the right as consumers to pop in the cartridge, "authorize" the use of that cartridge in digital form linked with our NNID/Nintendo Account, and install it digitally to the system under "fair use" so our carts stay safe. That would mean you'd have to unauthorized that game and uninstall it when you sell the cartridge to anyone. And thieves wouldn't be able to play it if stolen.
I mean with cfw we could use flashcarts, but that would be redundant.
