Did you try charging it for at least an hour? Maybe the battery's kicking the bucket.
Try putting the phone in DFU mode.

Perhaps the battery is done for, from what I know, it has been causing crashes lately.
Does it charge normally at least?

Battery's probably discharged, my iPhone used to do the same thing.
Let it charge for a couple of hours, to calibrate the battery then try again.

ok might take some time to charge seeing i cant turn the thing off holding sleep and vol down just turns it off for a second and then i turns itself back on and keeps trying to boot

wipe it with itunes and dont restore. Sometimes restoring will bring the problem back.

The phone boots, so it can only be a battery problem, mine also did the same until I realized I had to replace the battery, which solved the issue.
Regardless try getting a new battery (OEM preferably).
