Can this work with an USB 2.0 type C cable?

Fusee Gelee is the only non PP tetris option, you need a webapplet to use Pegaswitch for a softmod, so that is your only option until Atmosphere is released.

If you're on Windows or Mac, supposedly yes. I've seen it said somewhere on here that USB 3.0 is only a necessity if you're using Linux, though TegraRcmGUI does nothing to my own Switch with USB 2.0 and a claim that the payload was successfully injected.

I managed to install HBL successfully, but whenever I use CFW I can't play game (Xenoblade 2, stuck at Nintendo Switch loading logo) at all. Is this normal? or did I do something wrong? (My switch is 5.0.2)

This is normal and related to the way HBL injects itself into the Switch' operating system. If I recall correctly it has been fixed in more recent versions, maybe try grabbing a current version. Otherwise: Simply shutting down and booting your Switch normally will fix it.

    1) After that manipulations, reloaded in normal mode, right joycon stopped making KLICK sound when connected and all games refused to play when joycons were connected to the switch. Did I break it?
UPD after two reloads problem was solved, sorry for bothering.
    2) The .bin cannot be downloaded from crap like fast-files, would you please make it available any other way? May be right here, in forum? It weights just 64k

I've booted into RCM, but my PC doesn't detect my switch, and when I do it unconnected and connect it to my PC, it just starts up normally. How do i fix this?

It doesn't even show up in Zadig. Once it's plugged into the PC in RCM, it shows the charging symbol, and then boots normally.

That means its not in RCM. If it was truly in RCM, plugging it in would not start charging the Switch. You will have to double check the setup you are using to boot into RCM. Pins 1 and 10 must be must have contact with each other.

This is the paperclip setup I use. Perhaps there's something with the paperclip itself?

I use a paperclip as well so I don't believe that's the case. But because of that I have trouble entering RCM too. What I do is after the paperclip slides into the rail, I ever so gently try to have it sticking out of the rail to make better contact with the pins.
    Example
Just be warned that repeated usage of the paperclip has been known to erode the pins. Once or twice is no problem, but some users have reported their damage to their Switch after using the paperclips to enter RCM. And yes, I'm aware of the irony as I myself am still using a paperclip, but I prefer free DIY options and I struggled a lot using screwdrivers.

I tried using a little screwdriver 20180517_203010.jpg , and the same thing happened. It booted into RCM, but when I plugged it into my PC it just reboots normally. Perhaps it's the cord?

Try booting into RCM while its plugged into your computer. This way, you will know its in RCM when it shows up as an APX device.
