Thanks for the guide. I hope that it is updated or a new one is created when Atmosphere is out.

As a side note, my local electronics shop has raised Switch price quite a bit because of the hack likely.

Well, devs always tell us we should stay on as lower fw as possible and i was also recommending people to do so but.. giving the current statement of the scene, i dont think its worth staying on anything between 3.0.1 to 3.0.2 . Those firmwares are receiving nothing . On top of that, team xecuter has already teased its hack which ll be released next month. The scene is working heavy for 4.1 and higher, at least thats what it seems like. Anyways, i m on 4.1 and enjoining pfba ( genesis, master system and arcade ). If your updating it, try to get it up to 4.1 .

Sorry if this has been answered already, but can you also use a microUSB to USB-C cable?

3.0.1 has the same level of exploitation as 4.1.0, so any of those
If the phone supports OTG it should work, no harm in trying.

After hacking, I take the tin foil off my joycon and attach it to my switch. It charges, but it won't allow me to play handheld. [see image]

The guide will be updated for atmosphere when it is bootable. (You will only need to replace the sd card files and payload with the atmosphere versions, so it will be very easy if you are able to boot hekate now :)

Anybody having the issue where you can’t use any controls on the HB AppStore you need to connect your right joycon.

Never use tinfoil it can damage the pins, I presume u have moved pin 9 to close to 10, or damaged the pins.

This implies that 4.1.0 has a softmod but this is incorrect.

Deja Vu will work on 4.1.0, thus it has a softmod. It is still private, but will be released after atmosphere.

Okay, it does not have a softmod, it will have. Not currently usable as it implies.

I actually though that tinfoil was safer than bending a paperclip, would you care to elaborate about it?

Tinfoil can get stuck, scratch and expand causing other pins to be shorted etc. It works, but can also be imprecise and dangerous.

A pin is not going to cause damage unless u try to scratch the pins.

Read the OP, the homebrew tutorial is at the bottom for the FW in question.
